"Mary Racton was a cousin of Samuel Nash of Brancaster, co. Norfolk, who married Dorothy Drury, her husband's aunt. Being an heiress, she was the means of restoring to some extent the family fortunes of the Drurys, which had been much impaired in the time of George Drury's father."
